FX SERIES 4.1 The FX4 series calenders differs from the FX3 series in that they are MECHANICAL BENDERS with 4 ROLLS with complete double opening and front release. The upper roller is fixed while the up and down movement is applied to the side rollers and to the lower roller. The clamping of the sheet metal is very simple as once the sheet has been introduced between the upper and lower roller, the latter blocks the sheet as it rises. The rotation is applied to the upper and lower roller by means of a self-braking motor coupled to a reducer. An interesting application involves applying an INVERTER to the rotation, obtaining a variable speed adjustment. This application allows, by reducing the speed in the first stages of sheet metal deformation, a better control and result and, in the case of large diameters, a saving in processing times. The FX4.1 series can be equipped and enslaved by a CNC thus allowing, in a simple way, to better manage the bending profiles automatically, with the possibility of being archived for subsequent use. Equipped with hardening of the rollers, conical device, motorized sheet metal clamping and mobile control pulpit, they are an excellent compromise of quality and economy as well as being easy to use by the operator. 1-Max calendering capacity: 2/3 sequences; 2- Max invitation capacity 70/80% of the thickness 3-Cones capacity 60/70% of the max calendering capacity and depending on the type of cone. The FX4.1 series calenders are 4-ROLL MECHANICAL BENDERS with full double infeed and front release. The clamping of the sheet is very simple since once the sheet has been introduced between the upper roller and the lower roller, the latter blocks the sheet as it rises. The execution of the double inlet takes place with the translation of the symmetrical side rollers which guarantee maximum reliability and straightness of movement. The FX4.1 SERIES can be equipped and managed by a simple but powerful NC, in the ECO-PLUS-EVO versions which will allow the operator to manage the calendering programs and their digital archiving in a quick and simple way.
